barefoot

"One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon - instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today."

also, might i point out the most interesting thing about being barefoot is going from wet grass onto a really dusty floor (like the floor of a barn or something).
There are wet footprints on the floor, but you're feet are totally dry and covered in the dust.
At some point there's some sneaky exchange of the two i suppose.
You ought to try it.

That's a beautiful quote, and so true. I only hope I can stop and remind myself of it more often.
