I was going to do a compilation of some of my favorite runway looks from fall 09, but as I clicked through Phillip Lim's collection and found myself consistently gaping, I decided that I must dedicate one post entirely to him. There is so much to inspire. I narrowed down my favorites to these...eleven.
Everything hangs/drapes/slouches perfectly.
Picture #1: The most fantastic layering.
Picture #6 and #7: Fur and ruffles. 'Nuff said.
Picture #8: Please oh please can I have that sweater.
Picture #9: Lacy tights under an industrial looking jumpsuit? Genius.
Picture #10: I die.
Plus, all the shoes are divine, and I am now convinced I need burgundy tights.
